Casual Dress Guidelines

1.      No open-toe shoes, sandals, house slippers, or shoes with more than 2-inch heel.
2.      No torn or defaced pants, or skin-tight pants or low-rider pants.  No holes of any kind.
3.      No shorts or skirts that are not at least finger-tip length on the thigh.  No biking shorts, gym shorts (i.e., short shorts), or cutoffs.  (Certain labs do not permit shorts of any kind.)
4.      No sweatpants or sweat suits.
5.      No hoodies or overcoats.
6.      No pajamas or slippers.
7.      No revealing blouses that show bust lines, backs, stomachs, or backside.
8.      No muscle shirts or tank tops that reveal chest or any clothing that fails to cover body parts sufficiently.
9.      No shirts bearing language that can be deemed inappropriate for school.  No clothing that contains offensive or obscene symbols, signs, slogans, or words degrading any gender, cultural, religious, or ethnic values; or contains language or symbols oriented toward violence, vandalism sex, drugs, alcohol, or tobacco.
10.  No backpacks.
11.  No military apparel.
12.  No headgear including bandannas or head rags or hats/caps.
